Description

Passing through the coteaus of central North Dakota, the Prairie Pot Hole Region, there is a scenic little highway. Thirty six. Traversing it at least half a dozen times a month for nearly ten years, this Little Schoolhouse has become iconic for me. It changes little, though the fields around it do with the seasons, the years. I wonder what children spent time here, and what teachers and parents braved frigid winters to keep the fires stoked. On the prairies of North Dakota.
